After silently crafting away for almost two years, British born Chinese artist Jules returns with her new project ‘IDENTITY: WHO AM I’ before the end of 2021.

For fans of Little Simz and Kae Tempest, the new EP is a concoction of alternative hip-hop beats and pure storytelling, with every track displaying more of Jules’ conscious lyricism and exploration of spoken word. This is Jules like you’ve never seen before but also what she does best; blending various sounds together with a message.

Each song with the running theme of ‘identity discovery’ is a page from the artist’s journal; unravelling personal thoughts on topics such as imposter syndrome (‘Who Am I’), bisexuality (‘Feeling Myself’) and racism towards ESEA communities (‘The Truths’). Including exclusive features from North London’s grime icon Capo Lee, US indie pop singer-songwriter TONIE (formerly Wind Meets West) and production from UK based producers IZCO, Sterling Reigns and P.Salm!
